Our Mission Statement

Youth have the right to go to and from school and attend school without fear of crime or violence

Our Purpose

Student Crime Stoppers is a program designed to encourage and assist students in "taking charge" of their environment, and contributing in a positive way toward making their schools crime-free.

We offer youth the tools to stand up against crime and violence without fear of reprisal or peer pressure, through an anonymous TIPS system to get the information to those who can stop the crime or violence.  The confidential TIPS system is available through this website.  Those with information solving cases in schools, on school property or at school events can improve our quality of life at every school.

Modeled after the community Crime Stoppers Program, Student Crime Stoppers provides a means for students who have information about criminal activity in or around their school, to pass it along to police without revealing their identity.

This program is not designed to identify young offenders and throw them into the judicial system. Rather, the basic
philosophy is that the offending student "took something out of society and must put something back in".

Student Crime Stoppers is funded by community donations through Prince Albert Crime Stoppers Board, covering all schools in the Prince Albert area.

Student Crime Stoppers projects include Drug Free Zones, Training Sessions, School Volunteer Hours, Special Promotions, and Fund Raising Events.
